The answer is no. So I will just comment. Another chance to get closer to chokeland, another cheap loss. Lackness pitched a heck of a game until the 5th. The Angels' bats were asleep at the wheel vs. Contreras. That's a shame. Oh, well, there's always next year!
And to wrap up my football picks, I ended up 9-7, with last night's win and loss. Sheesh...

Thank you for not wasting precious blog space with words about the atrocious Angels. One reason why they don't even deserve to think about the playoffs: They can't step up when they need to. The past two times the gA's have lost earlier in the day, the Angels just roll over like a bunch of pansies. Good thing I didn't have to watch much of the game last night. I spent most of my time watching the Chargers destroy the Raiders. That was just a sad, sad game.
It was a good game in some ways, but the Halos just aren't clutch this season. The Lackness Monster pitched well, but no stick.
On the other hand, it is always "proper" when the rAiders get pounded.
