And now for something completely different...

Our favorite Romanian soccer teams, Steaua, Rapid, and Dinamo, all enjoyed great success over the last couple days in European club competitions. Steaua, my personal fave, is in the top flight Champions League. They wasted no time yesterday, going to Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev, and spanking them 4-1!! Rapid and Dinamo (both from Bucuresti) enjoyed success in Europe's lesser club competition, UEFA Cup. Rapid downed Portugise side Nacional 1-0 and Dinamo handed Grecian club Xanthi a 4-3 loss.

Now, that truly was different.
