As Mr. Jones would have us know, the Angels held off the inevitable far a day longer by beating chokeland yesterday, 7-1! Vladdy's two run shot was hot! Mice Hair tripled in two, Cab Fare taxied in a run, and # 1 Stunna and Howie aded some more! Magic pitched a heck of a game, too. It was all good, for now at least. Tonight the Angels get Texas at home for three straight before facing the gA's again to finish out the season. I won't bother you with highly improbably, truly impossible senarios of the, well, "If the Angels with this and chokeland losses that... blah blah blah..." I just hope they finish well, like win thier next seven in a row. Especially Friday since I'll be there.

In the other heated playoff races, the Twinkines now have a Wild Card magic number of 2! That'll be sweet to see the defending champ Black Sox out of it, haha!

The NL sees the Dodgers, Dads, Phills fighting it out for what looks like the remainding two spots if the Cards can hold off Houston in the Central.
