...And for my next trick; FOOTBALL PICKS!

Let's see, some of these games mean life or death in the playoff race, so watch with hope, or disdain. Your choice.

Giants def. Redskins
Bengals def. Steelers (Cowher cries, then retires)
Titans def. Patriots (make playoffs!)
Jets def. Raiders (Randy Moss throws a hissy-fit)
Rams def. Vikings
Jaguars def. Chefs (Chefs don't make playoffs)
Bucs def. Seahawks
Cowboys def. Lions (Matt Millen gets lynched)
Texans def. Browns (sorry B)
Saints def. Panthers (go to Super Bowl)
Bolts def. Cards (yawn)
Colts def. Dolphins (zzzzzzz)
Eagles def. Falcons (Jeffe Garcia es en fuego!)
Ravens def. Bills
Packers def. Bears (Favre retires after just barely missing playoffs. Haha)

And my upset of the week:

49ers def. Donkeys, keeping them out of the playoffs! Thinking they have something to prove, the Whiners go into frozen Mile High and punch Jay Cutler in the face. (sorry Welshman, this is how I see it...)

Happy New Year!!!

Giants Eat Baked Zito, Get Sick!

After signing the for gA's lefty, nausea set in, knowing what a ridiculous thing they just did. I'm just glad the Angels stayed away...

The Football Picks Are Back!

"What you get is what you need, When you watch the blood but you don't feed..."

Here they are, in all their GLORY!

Last night's game doesn't count. It was a fix. And to top it, Favre threw a touchdown pass. Albeit to the other team, hahahaha!

Chefs def. The Evil
Rams def. Redskins
Browns def. Buccs
Titans def. Bills
Saints def. Gnats
Jaguars def. Patriots
Colts def. Texans
Bears def. Lions (Oh my!)
Falcons def. Panthers
Ravens def. Steelers (How are the Ravens dogs in this game?)
49ers def. Cards (A must win, to say the least.)
Chargers def. Seahawks (To help the 49ers!)
Donkeys def. Bengals (Keeping what little hope there is alive)
Dophins def. Jets

And my upset of the week:

Eagles def. Cowboys! Jeff Garcia emerges from the ashes and leads the "Iggles" into the playoffs!

the baseball diaries

No deals?

So the Angels left the winter meeting with no deals done, which to some that seems ok if you're the type that thinks "nothing gained nothing lost" is good. But how hard did Stoneman try? The "talks" with Atlanta for LaRoche and Colorado for Helton continue, but seem to be going nowhere fast. Stoneman is so in love with keeping his pitchers that it's blinding him! The fact is the Angels need bats and they need them badly. And not from the free-agent market where it will cost a fortune and could be a bust; case in point Gary Matthews Jr. I hope I and everybody else that thinks this deal is a dud in the making are WRONG! I know we have a ton of time before spring training, but give us some hope that this season will be awesome. Please. The fans need it!

Giants leaps!

The last two games played by Knights FC were superlative. after being handled in the first match vs. Veteranos, the Knights earned their first league points on the level with a hard faught 7-7 draw. Disappointing was the fact that the equalizer was given up by the Knights with only about two minutes from time. However, last week was monumental! Having been beaten on the two previous occations by the Retired Athletes, Knights FC rose to this occasion, taking almost every chance to exact a convincing 11-3 victory! Our hats are tipped to Andrew for being a BAD-ASS in every sence of the word and scoring five of the goals!

This Thursday will be a defining moment when we face the Skallywags for the fourth time. They have beaten us in close matches all three times before and I hope that this will be the day we get revenge. Though Andrew will not be there... we may be in big trouble...
